There are too many empty words regarding the responsibility for the environment as well as the social responsibility. We strongly believe that the commitment must be genuine and honest and we work daily with these questions in order to contribute to a better world.
To work for a better environment is very important for us and for every year we have enviromental goals to be met. These goals are always followed up very closely and during the last 15 years we have made many changes and efforts when it comes to the production plant, the packaging material as well as looking back to transports and other enviromental issues in the producing countries.
We always strive to improve the conditions in coffee producing areas in order to establish a better life for communities producing coffee. One example is that we are working actively within different fields to support organic and fair trade production of coffee and we have a large assortment of organic and fair trade coffee.
A few years ago, we together with four other privately owned European coffee companies, started International Coffee Partners (ICP).This group of coffee experts are working with different projects in coffee producing countries around the world with the ambition to get the people growing the coffee, to be able to live off this production and at the end have better living conditions.
